German Shepherd Rescue of New England

German Shepherd Rescue of New England, Inc. (GSRNE) is an all volunteer, 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to providing veterinary care, evaluation & adoptive homes for the countless numbers of German Shepherd Dogs who are left in pounds to await uncertain fate, are owner surrenders (divorce, death, etc.), or are from abuse or neglect situations. We help provide a safe harbor for German Shepherds that might otherwise be destroyed.

Each dog applying to our program is evaluated for temperament and behavioral information. All accepted dogs are spayed or neutered, updated on vaccinations, and receive essential medical care. Then the dogs are placed into GSRNE foster homes, while they await new homes. Finally, each dog is carefully placed in a loving home with a family that matches that dog’s temperament, activity level and needs.

Cape Ann Animal Aid

Cape Ann Animal Aid is a non-profit, no kill organization dedicated to facilitating appropriate placement of adoptable animals and enhancing the lives of all companion animals by promoting respect and well-being through education and outreach.

Northeast Animal Shelter

Northeast Animal Shelter, established in 1976, is one of New England's largest non-profit, no-kill animal shelters.  We have placed over 125,000 cats and dogs since we opened our doors.

We are located just a half hour north of Boston and easily accessible to all of New England. Being open 7 days a week makes the adoption of a pet convenient for the general public and enables us to place all our homeless dogs and cats.

Northeast Animal Shelter receives no local, state or federal funding and is entirely dependent on contributions from the public to cover its annual operating budget.

Survivor Tails Animal Rescue

We are a 501(c)3-approved, fully volunteer and foster-based cat and dog rescue in Boston, MA. We pull dogs and cats from high-kill shelters, often in the south, where overpopulation is a major issue due to the lack of spay/neuter laws. We are not a shelter facility and rely wholly on a devoted foster family network to do our life-saving work.

Once we commit to pulling an animal from the euthanasia list of a high-kill shelter, the animal must be fully vetted, fixed, and fostered locally for two weeks before getting a health certificate and allowed to cross state lines.

We then pay for the transport of the animal from said state to New England where it goes directly into a mandatory 48-hour quarantine facility, in accordance with state law.

From that point on, we rely on wonderful foster families to love and care for the animal until we find them their forever home.

Quinn's Canine Cafe

Our treats are made with natural and organic ingredients, sourced from local farms in New England whenever possible.  There are absolutely zero fillers or preservatives in our recipes. Each snack is hand crafted in small batches every week so your dog gets the freshest treat possible.  From our dogs' point of view, it makes all the difference.  So sniff around and see what makes the tail wag!

The Playful Pack

Dogs enjoy all-day access to clean Astro-turf-covered yards, climate-controlled indoor play areas, comfortable bedding, and compatible playmates.  Each play group is closely monitored by caring staff.  They ensure that every dog gets the attention, exercise and rest they need in a safe, clean and comfortable environment.
